AI App Lab ("we", "us") makes educational apps for children, including Huroof Island (formerly EduKids). This policy explains what information our apps handle. In short: we do not collect personal information about children or parents.
To personalise learning, Huroof Island stores a child profile on the device: a first name or nickname, an age, a chosen avatar, a language preference, lesson progress, stars and stickers, and daily play time. This information never leaves the device, is not sent to us or anyone else, and is deleted when the app is deleted. A parent can edit or remove a profile at any time in the Parent Zone.
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your name, email address or payment details. To confirm a purchase, the app sends the store's purchase receipt or purchase token, the product purchased and the platform to our validation service (purchases.app-lab.ai). These do not identify you personally and are used only to verify purchases.
Our apps show no advertising and contain no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. We do not build profiles, sell data or share data with third parties. Children cannot leave the app through links or buttons; the privacy policy, terms and purchases are behind a parental gate.
Huroof Island is designed for children aged 2 to 10 and complies with the Apple Kids Category and Google Play Families requirements. Because we collect no personal information from children, there is no account to create and no data for us to delete. If you believe information about a child has been sent to us, contact us and we will delete it.
All lessons, pictures and recorded voices are built into the app and work offline. The app does not record audio or use the microphone or camera.
We may update this policy and will post the new version on this page with a new date.
